He also enjoys training, and anything related to finding birds, but what people notice most is his beautiful coat and handsome good looks. Finally, he has a fun-loving hunting style and a strong desire to retrieve. His most noteworthy attributes are his gorgeous good looks, his friendly personality and easy-going nature.

Mother: Sage is a beautiful, slender, muscular, dark fox-red female who weighs in at a slight 49-pounds. According to her owner, Chris, “Sage is an amazing family dog first and has a great on/off switch. When in the house she is well behaved and great with kids.” Attributes that Chis attributes to Sage are: sweet, easy-going, alert, friendly, athletic, confident and affectionate. He also says while training she has a high desire to please. About her love for water, Chris comments, “The first time I took her to the lake to practice retrieving. Sage jumped out and looked at me and went flying into the lake. I had great joy at watching how happy she was. Ever since then any time we go to the lake to train she has to take a dip first. As a duck dog, her love for water, intense retrieve and good blind manners makes her a real asset. In the upland field, she uses her keen sense of smell and coordinated body to cover ground and seek out game.
