Breeding Dog: Kai
Kai was born at Black Partridge Kennels in Metamora, Illinois on September 17, 2016 as a result of a breeding between Rooster (4x GMPR GRHRCH HRK’s Rooster Smasher of TGK MH QAA) x MPR HRCH BPK’s Ruby Red Gem. Kai is a 57-pound dark yellow Labrador Retriever who is very sweet. She not only friendly and loving, but her gentle personality wins over almost everyone who meet her. With a gentle approach, Kai loves to train and work on her hunting skills. Kai has a medium size body and head, with a smart looking appearance and a dark yellow coat. Kai has a natural curiosity that promotes her vigorous hunting style and complements her desire to retrieve. She also has a subtle natural pointing style. Kai’s stand out among other dogs because of her gentle personality, he good looks and her natural quartering ability.
Father: Rooster is one of our favorite sires because he throw dogs with both great balanced, gentle temperaments, and strong hunting traits. Rooster is one of the most accomplished hunting Labrador Retriever in the United States. Rooster has competed at 4 performance levels, and rarely failed a hunt test. APLA 4XGMPR (8-10), UKC Hunt test HRCH (10-12), GRHRCH (Grand Hunting Retriever Champion)(335 UKC points,), AKC Master Hunter (6-7), & 1st place Qualified All Age in his only field trial ever entered. Rooster is a product of 4 generations of Pointing Labs from Field Champion bloodlines. He excels in looks and intelligent, easy to handle, & calm on the line or in a blind with the drive to be a top competitor. Best of all, Rooster seems to be passing his traits to his pups. Rooster is known for his on/off switch when not in the field, making him the perfect family/hunting companion.
Mother: APR BPKs Ruby’s Red Gem HRSH – “Pearl” – Pearl is a beautiful 52-pound dark- yellow, loving pet. She has a strong drive, loves to retrieve and has a very staunch natural point. She received her Certified Pointing Retriever, Advanced Pointing Retriever and HRSH titles before she turned 2 years of age. Pearl has a very loving personality and really turns it on when she gets in the field.
