Captain of Marble Mountain
Captain was born at Marble Mountain Kennels in Northern Calif. on Dec. 28, 2023 as a result of a breeding between two great looking black dogs named Kodi x Gem. Captain is a 64-pound black Labrador Retriever who is very chill and has an extremely easy-going personality. He is one of the calmest dogs we own, as he waits patiently during any transition time is his life (feeding, walk time or training time). Captain loves to train and has a keen sense of intelligence. He also has an inviting and softer look because of his medium length hair and his great eyes. About his hunting style, he has the perfect personality to be a great duck dog. His chill disposition makes it easy for him to relax in the duck blind, but his retrieving desire, tells you he is also ready to go when needed. Captain’s three greatest traits are his calm, patient disposition, his solid retrieving desire and his good looks. Captain’s pedigree includes several outstanding dogs such as: “Kodi” of Marble Mountain, TGK’s “Coho” of Marble Mountain, 4x GMPR The Captn’s Sierra Shadow Ale QAA MH, 4x GMPR HRK’s Rooster Smasher & 2.5 GMPR Trinity’s Power of three.

Kodi was born at Marble Mountain Kennels in Northern California on September 19, 2020 as a result of a breeding between two of Marble Mountain Kennels favorite dogs; Coho and Maui. Kodi is a 65-pound black Labrador Retriever who is very responsive, alert and friendly. He has a calm and outgoing personality, with a fairly extreme on/off switch. Notable to anyone who sees him is his good looks. He has a strong muscular build, with a black shiny coat, and a classic blocky head and chest. In the field his personality changes and he becomes an intense hunter with a strong natural point. Then take him to the water and you see a strong retrieving drive, great marking and amazing nose work. He is the best athlete that MMK owns.
