ABOUT THIS BREEDING : This breeding combines the traits of two very strong parents to hopefully give us puppies that have terrific personalities, intense hunting desire, good looks with great trainability

SIRE: Major is not only a great looking dog, he is also a terrific hunting partner and family friend. He hunts with heart and desire, and is a joy to be around. His multiple trainers have all commented on his trainable disposition and intelligence.  In 2005 Major was busy accomplishing his Junior Hunter, Senior Hunter, Certified Pointer, and Advanced Pointing Retriever titles.   Major will be working toward his GMPR and MH title.

Major's strong competitive edge most likely comes from his Grandfather, GMPR High Sierra Jazz's Drifter MH, and his Great Grandfather, AFC Chugach Hills Jazz's Rascal.

DAM: Kenai is a female in which Marble Mountain Kennels is very proud.   She has great looks, superior intelligence, a likeable personality, an intense hunting style, and loves to retrieve. She also lives with the family and is a loved house dog.

Her father is the very solid FC AFC Cuda's Blue Ryder MH and her grandfather is FC AFC CFC CAFC Barracuda Blue MH, who holds the distinction of being the only chocolate lab to hold all five of these titles.  Her grandfather on the dam's side is Merganser's Classic Rip N Tear MH, who not only holds a Master Hunter title, but also has one of the most famous chocolate fathers in AKC history, NFC Storm's Riptide Star,  the only chocolate dog in AKC history to hold this title. His success in the field trial world has been remarkable.

This breeding is likely to produce pups that drop dead good looks, have terrific personalities and will mature quickly.  We promise the pups will love to hunt and live for both the pheasant field and the duck blind.

COLOR AND SIZE : Both Major and Kenai  are good-looking chocolate labs. Major has a tall frame of 80-85 pounds, while Kenai is a medium 62 pounds. Both have muscular builds. We expect good-looking chocolate puppies with strong athletic 60-85 pound frames.
