In
2001, Rebel won back-to-back Opens for the third time in three years.
He then placed three times in three weekends and was named to the

incredible four All-Age trials in one month in the fall (three handled
by his owner), and five All-Age trials in a month and a half. At two of
these wins, his son won the Derby as well. Rebel finished the year as

first yellow since 1992 to be among the Top 4 Open Dogs in the United
States.
Rebel
came from a family of great competitors and tremendous bloodlines.
Rebel was the only yellow FC-AFC stud dog with two FC-AFC parents. His
grandfathers are legends in field trials, both already in the Retriever
Hall of Fame, capturing the High-Point Open Title four times between the
two of them. No other yellow stud dog today had such strong bloodlines.
